1. Who we are

This website is run by Basem Shaaban (Basem Shaaban Consulting) in Erbil, Kurdistan Region, Iraq. We collect as little data as we can and we never sell it.

2. What we collect

• Contact form: your name, email, the service you are interested in, an optional company or role, and your message.
• Usage data: Google Analytics 4 records which pages are visited, the device type and the approximate country. It uses cookies.
• WhatsApp: your number, name and messages if you write to us there.
• We do not collect payment details or passwords on this website.

3. How we use it

• To reply to your inquiry and prepare a quote.
• To communicate about services you asked for.
• To improve the site, using combined statistics.
• To keep business records. We do not send promotional messages unless you ask for them.

4. Who handles it

We use Web3Forms (contact form delivery), Hostinger (hosting and email), Google Analytics, WhatsApp and the social platforms linked from the site. Some of them run servers outside Iraq.

5. Cookies

Analytics cookies can be deleted or blocked in your browser without affecting how the site works. Google also offers an opt-out add-on for Analytics.

6. How long we keep it

Contact messages are kept as long as needed to follow up and are deleted when you ask. Analytics data follows Google’s default retention settings.

7. Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or ask us to stop contacting you, by emailing consulting@basemshaaban.com.

8. Security

The site uses HTTPS and only the owner can read messages. No online transmission is completely secure, so please do not send highly sensitive information through the form.

9. Children

This site is not aimed at anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. The latest date is shown at the top of this page.
